Wait, so you wwere driving thinking that MVC had reinstated your license and it just hadn't gottne to you yet? I get that, I know they say that registrations at least are effective immediately on instatement even if you haven't received one yet. I'm not sure what the $250 is supposed to be though, if not extortion.

Anyway, happy birthday!

The $250 DMV 's way of getting more money out of people.

A happy belated birthday, McAvoy. :)

Oh, the day was going well. Then on lunch I stepped on a patch of water and went down semi-hard. Hurt like hell, too. I went home early, got personal time so I don't lose any money. Still sucks, though.

Finished both Antartic cruise so now have 7 days in Monte Video before next cruise. Nice break.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

And happy March to you all. After the suck-fest that was February, I am SO looking forward to starting over.

It's snowing. Again.

Yeah... I am hoping this is last one. I am one of those who would rather have one big 20" or deeper storm than these scattered few inches deep ones. Not for convenience but 20" is more fun.

Got to close the store at 1:30 today, finished cleaning the car off and left the lot at 1:55. Got home - about 12 miles away - 50 minutes later. For McAvoy, that's Lacey to Toms River.

You'd probabloy consider it no big deal, but while there had been a bot of traffic, the plows and salters hadn't been out yet.

Took me nearly two hours to get from Ewing, College of New Jersey to Hightstown. Route 1 was the worse.

I'm quite used to 45-60 minutes to do my 14 mile commute. The motorway near me the M27 is almost always gridlocked in the morning.

I'm lucky. The Walmart I work at is 15-20 minutes away most of the time. And I start early in the day, when there's very little traffic around.
