I've jus turned 35 this week. However I must say this thread is making me feel young and fortunate. Good luck and condolences CPH, Mikey, and Angharrad!

Going to the Belmont Stakes tomorrow.

And then Buffy staked Edward. The End.

Ate a salad last night for dinner. Pretty basic. Bagged lettuce and tomatoes and olives. Woke up at midnight with practically nonstop puking, dry heaving and other stuff.

This is what I get for eating healthy.

You shouldn't eat it if the lettuce is anything other than green.

It was green. Olives didn't taste funny and the tomatoes were good.

I suspect there was a bug on the tomatoes that I didn't wash off.

Given my father's tendency to overcook food a bit, it's a wonder he doesn't actually cook his salads.

As we speak there's probably some industrious team of Scottish food technicians who are trying to work out a viable way to make deep fried salad.

Well, if they can come up with deep fried cola...

I haven't seen one in person but it was featured on some Discovery network show or another: they mix the Coke and some kind of batter and drop it in the oil for a bit.
