BTW Ian, have you cruised with Celebrity? This is my first time and I'm not liking the company.
No, we've only been with Princess, we originally picked then because they where cheap, but stayed with them because they seemed very good.

At work I saw an advert that Transformers: Age of Extinction is already coming out on DVD. Holy shit that's fast turnaround!

And I didn't see it in theaters and sure as hell not buying a copy of it.

Japan is mental.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Staying home from work today. I feel fine, but I have some sort of gastro-intestinal thing going on that has me running to the loo all the time. Alas, it means I lose a day's pay. :(

I had something like that yesterday, today I'm so tired. :(

Bringing my son to a ceremony tonight at which he'll be presented with a black belt in Kum Sung Korean Martial Arts (known in Heidelburg and Wurzburg as Sung Woo Do Kwan, it's a form mostly based on taekwondo and hapkido with some admixture of wing chun, karate, and Korean and Japanese weapons forms.) It boggles my mind a little that a 5-year-old boy was able to achieve this accomplishment - I know I wouldn't have been able to do so at that age - but I'm a gushing mess at my little guy's determination and commitment.

Thanks, bro. It was pretty cute, if I say so myself, to see him deliver his "speech" thanking his masters and everyone at the dojang and to hear him say "thank you" and "with respect" in Korean. Less cute to see him break four boards each with a palm strike and a double-jump axe kick, considering that I'm still his favorite sparring partner. :worried:
