Exactly my point. I suppose, based on what Teaos says, that Union or League, with more defined positional play, would look a bit more sensible to our American eyes, but what I still don't get is why so many people say rugby players are so much more badass than American football players because they play without pads or helmets. While they do so, I have yet to see (in sevens, at least) a hit that would actually be worthy of the term "hit" by American football standards.

You know, except for Ebner's, because he knows how to tackle because he's an American football player. And then all the rugby people got butthurt because he hit too hard.

No he mysteriously dropped away a few years back, no ones to sure what happened to him.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Interesting. There's a few of you I distinctly remember. Is Granite Hewer still around? He was an absolute riot.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

Not so much. I talk to him once in a while; he's been dealing with some weird personal/family crap.

Even though I've never even been near enough to even think about the level of talent displayed by some of the Americans I've been watching like Homer, Muhammad, and Zagunis, watching the saber events at the Olympics has really made me want to dust off the ol' sword and mask.

Hopefully I can find a club targeted to broken-down old dudes. When I was in practice, about 25 years ago, I could legit touch my cojones to the floor while performing a lunge. These days I can't touch my own toes without a ruler.

So I've spent the last few days dashing through various European cities in my attempt to see everything. Spent a day and a half in Dublin, another day in London, two days in Paris, and a total of about 20 hours in Frankfurt. I'm now in Schmitten for a Seminar
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
