I tried to put a picture here. But Photo bucket wants to be a pain in the ass in trying to post a imagelink here. I am doing it through a smart phone and you would think after a certain point popular sites would have mobile versions of their sites that actually ducking work for a popular brand of phone like a Galaxy S3.

That was the finalstraw with them. I will deal with a ddifferent site lateron and close my account there. I have no use for a site that doesn't do its job.

Checking his user profile, he visited last on Jul 24, 5 days ago, although he hasn't posted since the 11th. Also a quick Google for "CJ Stapleford" found no recent news reports. It's possible he's just been busy.

Oh good. Jail is a terrible waste of a young life. Busy is good.

Well I have this week off, and the shop is closed for the week. With a staff of two, the owner chooses to close the shop entirely for the duration of the vacation to let both of us get a break; there's no other staff to take the load. When I get back I'll open for three days by myself before he returns. The week after that, a normal schedule resumes.

The last couple of years I was able to coordinate this with my father, he'd arrange the same week off and we'd go down to a south NJ beach resort for a few days (I've no car and live with the folks). This we couldn't do this week since he's getting cataract surgeries on both eyes this summer. One's done and his other gets done this week. Since his boss won't give him those recovery days as sick days they've cut his vacation time. Anyway, I'm on my own. So, I've seen a couple of movies (Planet of the Apes and Lucy), go to a ballgame tonight and also Saturday - which will be Fireworks night at the ballpark following that game - and I'll head to Coney Island on Thursday afternoon to take in a little bit of beach and visit Luna Park the most recent incarnation of the amusement park which resides therein. The historic Cyclone roller coaster is still there and running, first built in 1927 and now a national historical monument.

I lived about 1 km from coney park when I briefly lived in NY. The weekly fireworks were always fun, amazed they did them every week.

I hope the surgery goes well for your dad, CPH.

And my own life is... mostly work at the moment.

Saw it last week, it's great. Had me laughing out loud half a dozen times or more.

It's a very rich and complex universe they've set up - way more so than the Marvel movies so far. They've made a base here that they could spin any number of films off of.

I would say parts look silly, rather than stpid, but intentionally so.
