Was going to ask how you deal with this:
I don't think it was ever that bad where I work.

Arrest for criminal damage? Banning from the shop for live? All sorts of ideas come to mind.

Had to replace my front tires on Friday. One of the tires, the thread was showing. I got used tires from the garage around the corner. Yesterday I found that one tire had z deep gouge in the sidewall, facing out from the car so no way my car caused it.

One thing after another with the car.

Are you sure the gouges weren't on the tire when you bought it?

Like an idiot I looked at one tire and assumed the other was fine.

Bummer. Side wall damage can be really dangerous. Glad you had them replaced.

Joke: On an additional note, you do know that you need to change the oil on the car on a regular basis. Long time forum members will find this funny and perhaps a little depressing ;)

A little? Maybe so, but only by the standards of the mention of humpback whales.

So the tire that replaced the gouged one is a Michelin tire which is worth more than the other three tires put together.

Wait, do you mean the same standards of automotive care and linguistic context apply if one happens to be an imaginary anthropomorphized lower mammal, in one's own schizoaffective fantastic world?

I cant remember where or how it came up, but a few years ago Chakats were brought up around me, one of the weirder conversations to be pulled into.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
