So just a little down the street and over from me a jet crashed into a house, killing the family inside.

Right now the story is leading on CNN.

My wife was home and heard the emergency vehicles responding as they drove past our house. I'm just glad to still have her.

I'm glad you and she are alright, too. Damned shame about the other family, there. :(

Came across this today. Thought I'd share. Every episode of Star Trek ranked
“You cannot play God then wash your hands of the things that you've created. Sooner or later, the day comes when you can't hide from the things that you've done anymore.”

And then Buffy staked Edward. The End.

Spent the weekend moving a woman who is going through a (long) divorce. It's shocking how much stuff she had, but that's kind of how things are these days.

Also my advice for everyone when buying homes or furnature, seriously consider how you're going to get everthing where you want it! Consider slightly smaller couches and things, or bigger doorways during a remodel.

A side effect of living a life of travel is everything I own fits in 2 suitcases.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
