Back from the weekend with my girlfriends family. Went better than I thought it would.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Will that not be a "drain" on your economy?
At least your life isn't boring, it's full of change...
The best way to watch what happens is to leave the bathroom door a-jar...

:laughroll:
Cute. Anyway it didnt work. The water pushed the jar of pennies to the side which is surprising since it has to weigh at least 20 pounds.

Its probably a broken pipe outside somewhere.
How cold is it in your neck of the woods?
'cause if it's starting to get cold, a broken pipe is a good bet...
I hope it gets found quick and solved before some real damage occurs... :?

*EDIT: Damn, replied without reading the other new posts... :(

It has dipped a couple of times below freezing. But it has been on average in the forties.

Good deal.

They know you're playing "hide the bratwurst" with their daughter, right?

Iti s odd that the water is coming up through your tub strong enought to move the jar, but not coming up through a toilet or sink...

Exactly. It seems to be water from my neighbors because it's not coming up when I use the dishwasher.

I have snaked it and Drano'ed it. Used a plunger and I just managed to make it drain slightly faster.

Well, perhaps the issue is coming from farther down the drain pipe, so when they drain their bathtub, it goes down, but since the clog is farther down, it doesn't drain fast enough and some of it comes back up your bathtub since you're lower than your neighbor...
Try Drano again, and see if it helps...
Did you notice less "return" since your Drano treatment... Well, your tub's Drano treatment... :P

I bought the biggest bottle I could find. So far so good. The second treatment seems to have worked.

I just find it odd I was getting rust flakes and even leaves when it was coming up from the drain.

Are there trees above your roof line? It sounds like your drain's vent might be compromised.
