I need more work, I am honestly a workaholic, I enjoy doing computer stuff so much that I literally want to do it and do it more often then not when I can.

My computer, or rather my computer parts, all arrived today.

In other news I think I've found my new favorite way to describe some styles of writing, "blunt-force-trauma style of prose".

This peaks my curiosity. What styles?

Also, how's the computer?

Dunno, haven't put it together yet.

The tell, don't show style of writing. Specifically it was in reference to Rand's style of writing in Atlas Shrugged.

Ha, why am I running into so much awful Titanic-related material lately?

I'm sitting here watching Titanic 2 on the TV. It's set in the modern day, in which the Titanic has been rebuilt (litteraly, I think, it looks exactly the same as the original ship, though I missed the first 20 minutes so I'm not sure). The ship's been touted as iceberg-proof, with state of the art "ice detection systems". So I'm sure this ship would never suffer a horribly ironic fate and sink in a manner similar to its namesake, right?

Of course it does. But because just getting hit by an iceberg wasn't cool enough, this time the ship is hit by an iceberg carried by a tsunami traveling at 850 Km/h!

I also love just how ridiculously over-the-top all the scenes of the passengers panicking are. People will not continue running around shrieking and waving their hands in the air 20 fucking minutes after the iceberg has even hit!

Ranting? This is bloody brilliant. I haven't laughed so much since that Dinocroc Versus Supergator thrash. I really need to watch the Sci-Fi channel more often - it's just hilarious.

Okay, the Titanic 2 has just had a huge explosion tear through it.....for some reason. Amazingly, there's no evidence of a hole, or even scorch-marks on the ship. That's some awesome paint they have on that thing.
The crew can't deploy the life-boats because they were all stored in the part of the ship that is now flooded. Good planning, guys!
Also, although there are life-boats that can be seen on the deck of the ship in the blatant stock-footage they're using for the exterior shots of the ship, they can't be used because "they're for decorative purposes". What the hell?
There was also a great scene where, after the iceberg hit the ship, our heroes rush down to the ship's infirmary. There they find a woman who has been sort of impaled by a broken table leg...or something. So they decide to patch her up. What do they use to stop the bleeding? They tape a credit card over the wound! Uh, guys, you're in an infirmary! Surely there's some bandages lying around somewhere.

I'm currently watching a great scene which seems to have been taken straight out of a video game. The two heroes turn a corner and find what is, litteraly, a puddle on the floor. But there's a wire sitting in the middle of the puddle! Thus our heroes conclude that they must use the pipes in the ceiling as monkey-bars to get over the puddle. I'm no expert on electricity, but I'm pretty sure that electrocution doesn't work like that.

Oh, and because getting hit by an iceberg launched by a tsunami wasn't enough, there's now a second Super-Tsunami heading towards the ship which will destroy the ship completely!
