Have a great vacation, Bryan. :)

Ah... I get to work, and I usually have paperwork to print out for the rest of my department. The computers wouldn't let me log into them for fifteen minutes. And then, when one starts working... the printer jams up THREE TIMES!!!!!!! :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall:

Welcome! We're sorry for how fucked up things are! Have a great time!

Although be careful. Florida is... well, 'Florida Man' is a meme for a reason.

Two good days at work in a row. Either I'm owed this, or it's gonna come crashing down on me later on. ;)

So, a skunk got loose in the Walmart I work at. I don't think anyone got sprayed, but the housewares department stunk to high heaven.

"Got loose?" What was a restrained skunk doing in Walmart at all?

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Hah, hah. :P Okay, it 'got into' the store. And ran loose in there.

No one got sprayed and I wasn't directly affected. Still a good day for me. :P

I just took a position running a small operation within my warehouse (frozen and perishable grocery distribution), running a start-up for a newly acquired customer, distributing their frozen bake It'll be my first salaried day shift job since I stopped teaching almost 10 years ago. I've had a miserable time being awake at 3:30 a.m. when I am accustomed to waking up at 5:00 p.m.

That said - This is also the first time I will be running nearly all aspects of a distribution operation on my own - inbound and outbound, staffing/training, and transportation will all fall under me, with the oversight of a senior manager (who happens to be a close friend/mentor). If I succeed - this will be a big career advancement for me. If I fail... well I've failed enough in life, I don't plan to fail.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

So, I had a guy ask me for the price of a vacuum cleaner. I scan it, I tell him, he's happy and thanks me. Good feeling.

I had some lady ask me for... 'Harvey' vacuum cleaners. No, she means Hoover. Nope, Dirt Devil! We should have the one she wants. She saw it here two or three months ago!

Won a ten day hiking trip to Nepal through work. Slightly concerned about the altitude...
