Single, mostly through lack of effort and interest.

I'm too busy for that bullshit.

I am currently unable to work. My eldest brother is a single father of five kids. Thus, he works, whilst I maintain the home and take care of the kids.

Actually that sounds like a pretty good way to make what might otherwise be two pretty dysfunctional situations work.

...and now I'm having "Full House" flashbacks...

Well, it seemed like the most appropriate method of dealing with the situation we have been dealt.

And it has made me realize just how much of a pain in the backside me and my brothers were for my dad, as he brought up five kids by himself.

I'm just glad my brother stopped at 5, lol.

5 year relationship, no kids.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Single and plan on keeping it that way through eternity.

I'm curious as to why. If you're feeling talkative.

Long story short, closest thing to a phobia of women (brought on by severe social lacking in childhood) and a high level of sensory integration issues in the skin (the physical contact that people enjoy would be literally painful). These two issues have filled me with a high aversion to a closer than friend relationship, and since I have no desire to change that, it likely won't happen.

While the "fear" of women (which is more like a fear of the romance aspect, since I have no issue beyond the expected with non-eligable women) has lowered with age, it still is there.

And the sensory issue won't go away.
