Post by D7_1991 »

I all

I am D7 from canada and have been a visitor to this website for a long time. I came here to simply to chat trek. I loved star trek for a long long time. I look forward to debate with you all about the shows movies or anything else star trek. I just thought i would make an intro. I chose my name because I like the grunge band nirvana there song D7 is one of my favorite songs from that group.

Just don't reply to old threads... people get bitchy if you do that.

I first came here for the size comparison section.... but it is addictive.

Hi and welcome!

I liked the strength indices. The fleet make was addictive.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

thanks Jim for the warning, and hi to both Teos and Jim. I like reading the technical stuff about transporters, warp drive, impulse, phasers, torpedoes, about the different kind of ships.
reviewing the episodes, reading basically. find out which books might interest me which ones i should avoid like the plague. It's hard choosing a particular series of the show but I think i like
TNG and Voyager best. You think south park much Jim?

Hi and welcome to DITL D7.

I like the ship specs, fleet composition, and also the Art & Design forum. I also have created a vast multiverse of my own since I was 8, and still ongoing, but I've never shared it. Maybe one day. The site is quite addictive.

Hi tinadrin chelnor

I've written stories to for many years as well created my own fan fiction of not just star trek but other interests i have as well. I didn't much care for sharing them with others even though
i was encouraged. I prefer to write for my own entertainment and i dont see that changing in the mere future. let's see I've mixed the trek universe with the highlander universe and some others. I've created my own characters not so much as the main characters from the shows. I think after all these years i still get LOTS of enjoyment from these stories like the current one am working on right now. god i've been working on it for eleven yrs i think and still going strong.

Yeah same here.

I have created an entire multiverse, with vast maps, fully-fledged economies, advanced starship design with multiple levels and types of techs. Mine is also purely for my own entertainment, and is 95% original stuff. Occasionally I make a "crossover" with other universes like Star Trek, Starwars, Babylon 5 etc, but I prefer my own stuff as I can do what ever I want with it.

I've been doing mine for 22 years now (started at 8 years old) and it has evolved to take a life of its own.

Its good to have something for yourself, something no one else can interfere with :)

I thought we were supposed to leave our sanity in the box by door. **shrugs**

Well, that would hardly help me quote a Danny Elfman song, now would it?
