It’s NOT a parrot!

This parrot is in fact a female model who posed for Johannes Stötter, a fine art body painter.

Using breathable paint, he spent hours painstakingly turning this woman into the image of a parrot, brushstroke by brushstroke. The model’s arm forms the parrot’s head and beak, and her legs form the wing and tail feathers.

Yeah, but what Ian posted isn't even an image of a parrot... it's an image of a person made to look like an image of a parrot! That's kinda abstract...

More abstract than Magritte? IDK, He said it wasn't a parrot, and upon more detailed inspection it becomes clear that it isn't, in fact, a parrot. Seems fairly concrete to me. Magritte's message also becomes clear, but only if we as a viewer agree to shift the paradigm of our observation from subject to gestalt of sensation... sort of like suspension of disbelief when watching sci-fi.

Oh thank god. 28 hours later I finally see it. All I needed to do was find the tit, and let nature take its course.

Edit: Now I can't see the parrot anymore...

Also I want to point out something unnecessary that on the initial "This isn't a parrot," I thought to myself, "Yeah. It's a macaw."

I can switch between 'model' and 'bird'. Sometimes it does so subconsciously.

To quote a certain captain...
James Kirk wrote: Do you know the one: "All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by...?" You could feel the wind at your back in those days, the sounds of the sea beneath you. And even if you take away the wind and the water, it's still the same. The ship is yours, you can feel her...and the stars are still there.
