The Hellcat is nice but for me I always thought the Corsair was more graceful looking. To each their ownMcAvoy wrote:For me it's pretty much almost any British and American plane's. Some like the P-38 or Hellcat (I have no idea why) I like over others.

Re: Cool Picture Thread
Call me crazy but I always kinda liked the A10 Warthog. Odd but cool.
email, ergo spam
Re: Cool Picture Thread
The A10 is potentially the most badassed plane EVER made.
Ugh... do not thump the Book of G'Quan...
Re: Cool Picture Thread
I wish I could post pictures but it's pain in the ass on a phone but there is a meme that pretty much sums up the A10.

What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Hell of a man. Letting an incest bite him and draw blood, twice. So, what level of hell did that thing originate from?

Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...
Re: Cool Picture Thread
I always preferred the aerial shots. Fascinating how the ocean is displaced by the force of the cannons firing.
Also like this one.
I call it, "Dragonfire."

Re: Cool Picture Thread
Yeah those battleship pics brought up the amusing myth that a battleship will be pushed sideways when they fire all guns at the same time.
