I hesitate to say it... but I think the worst is over!

For the 4th consecutive Friday, I am working 14+ hours. This is my 3rd consecutive Friday working 16+ hours. This is likely going to be my 3rd consecutive Friday getting home after 4:00 am on the East Coast. This fucking company, man...

Sounds like you have a dearth in your management team.

Yeah, that about says it. Upper management in flux, front line management like myself burned out, training program is shot, hiring team is behind, my hourlies are working 15 hour days of vigorous labor, and the overall direction of the business is slightly more nebulous than Mutara. Salary stops being fun after 50 hours...

God damn, Bryan. :( Be careful, all right? I don't wanna read about you burning out or something.

Oh, my life is already in shambles. Lost my girl, have some probation issues, mental health treatment is bleeding me dry, and I've lost 25 lb in 6 weeks... I won't do anything crazy, but my burn out has been long and slow.

Anyone here been watching the NCAA tournament?

A little. My fave coach is out now, though.

In other news, the number of unconscious men found in the bathroom of my store last night was greater than zero...

Since you're here typing, I'll make the assumption it wasn't you... So the next question... Heroin?

Impressive. What kind of store do you run?

A convenience store. We don’t have a presence in New England, but are you familiar with Wawa?

Absolutely - there's a Wawa right next to where I stay when I'm down at Richmond Raceway. They're pretty regular stops for me any time I'm driving Jersey on south. Great chain - wish we had them here. I'd say Cumberland Farms may be closest I have in New England.

Happy Easter, everyone. Today will also happen to be my dad's 70th Birthday. So needless to say, I'll be celebrating by being at work from the time I wake up until I decide to go home and go to bed.

Hope everyone has a fun Easter, if you celebrate it.
