Good review this one, one that I suspect could have gone on for a lot longer if Chuck had had the time. And I finally agree with the rating.

SFDebris: Observer Effect
Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.
Re: SFDebris: Observer Effect
I certainly agree about the hypocrisy that Archer displays. He lets and entire race of people die due to a non-existent directive and then whines when aliens won't save him and his two friends.
I like Scott Bakula, but man do I hate Archer.

The shame of this is they could have used this to show a change in the crew. Going from their high-minded position to being reminded what it was they were when the Vulcans found them. A people in need of help. Sometimes that help is easy and sometimes its not.

Well, the only to have made this more depressing is pointing out how good it could have been.Deepcrush wrote:The shame of this is they could have used this to show a change in the crew. I was trying to type my original response via Steam while I was playing Sins of a Solar Empire... so I was lightly distracted and thus not able to fully bash the episode as much as it truly deserved. Though I think Chuck did a fine job of it on his own.

Agreed, yet another solid fail for enterprise.Deepcrush wrote:I was trying to type my original response via Steam while I was playing Sins of a Solar Empire... so I was lightly distracted and thus not able to fully bash the episode as much as it truly deserved. But as stated, a fail made worse in that the ep had such an easy shot at being so good.
