I'd think the Enterprize could be deleted as well.

Personally, I'd have something a long the lines of first lightbulbs, then the first car which I believe was german, then the first flight, then perhaps sputnik, then man on the moon then move on to the future bits and pieces.

Yeah i agree. They only threw that in there because it was named Enterprize. Hell, I bet if they had more time in that opening they would have thrown in the first carrier Enterprise and the nuclear powered one.

And seeing as how B&B really didn't give crap about continuity, the TOS Connie Enterprise as well... :P

No more than likely the E-D. They didn't care about TOS that much.
