Part one.

That beginning... hammers it home rather well.

Part 2

In which Neelix is a shithead and the stereotype screams "I'm not a stereotype!".
Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.

Wow, I almost think I have better survival skills than Neelix!

Since none of us would wear what Neelix wears, we ALL have better survival skills than Neelix.

If trapped on that planet, I would be wearing Neelix.

And eating Neelix and using Neelix as tools. Waste not, want not!

I'm thinking of a few different taun-taun jokes right now.

You mean how it will only keep you Luke-warm?

I do appreciate how the Kazon were trying to return the favor to Voyager. Voyager wanted the Kazon to live without their tech, so the Kazon decide to let Voyager's crew try to survive without Starfleet tech.

Good points about Paris being almost a Mary Sue, while Neelix keeps on screwing up. A better writer could have done much more with Neelix in this episode, so he shows actual skills, and comprehension.

Yeah, it's a bit too much, even for him. Pun intended, I would've thrown him a bone or two. Or heck, had a piece of tech hidden away in a shoe.
