What if Voyager was a Klingon ship?
What if Voyager was a Klingon ship?
We've had a few "what if.." threads so heres a new one.
Say it was a Vorcha or Neghvar.
Oh, and they couldn't use the array to go back because of technobabble reasons (just to solve that problem).

That's a really interesting premise, Stitch.
There'd be a lot more killing, for one thing.

The Klingon Empire would have a new branch office.

They probably die of food poisoning going by their galley in that ENT episode.
Seriously though, they might not even want to go home, think of how much honour could be gained by carving out a little empire.

I never thought of it that way. And imagine how easily they could deal with the Kazon... unless the Kazon all joined together.

Yeah, a Klingon ship would probably spend quite a bit of time curb stomping the Kazon on general principle.
Re: What if Voyager was a Klingon ship?
Yeah, and they would probably be able to do a lot more damage to places, and I think that they would have gone the other way, and would have not ever run into the borg, therefore, they would probably make their own empire.

Re: What if Voyager was a Klingon ship?
I'd say the Klingons would carve themselves out a nice little empire in the DQ. Perhaps taking over Kazon space.

Take it over and hopefully exterminate the Kazon. I mean the Borg didn't even think they were worth the trouble of assimilating if only for spare parts.

They would take over one of the Kazon tribes and start their own empire.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: What if Voyager was a Klingon ship?
If we stipulate that they are, in fact, trying to get home, they'd have a lot harder time. VOY had to trade/negotiate a lot in order to keep up supplies, use certain routes, etc.; peaceful negotiation isn't exactly a strong suit with the Klingons.
