Trying to figure out the logic of this post. DS9 was always meant to NOT be on a starship. It was the first series to get away from the whole Starship Enterprise thing.

Hell the only other series (except Discovery) with the ship not named Enterprise, they made sure to keep them away from the area where the Enterprise works, across the galaxy!

It also wouldn't be called DS9 since its not a starship name.

It would be so different from DS9 that it wouldn't be DS9.
