We do, however, have evidence for their existence - human anatomy.
So, I stand by what I said. WE DON'T REALLY KNOW IF THE TR-116 HAS A FULLY AUTO FEATURE OR NOT.
Exactly. Therefore, as I always point out, unless there's evidence for a given thing's existence, logic dictates that we assume it doesn't exist. Occam's Razor.
And semi at best? We saw it used semi. I certainly didn't see a lever, pump, or bolt being used...did you? :poke:
I didn't see a magazine either.
Yes we did.

Looks like a trapdoor. Oh, FFS... Starfleet can build ships but can't put a friggin' detachable box magazine on the gun? :headdesk:

I'd be more worried about Starfleet's idea of NSPs - look where Esri's left index finger is.

Seven lifetime's worth of experience and not one of them knows not to put your finger on the trigger until you're ready to fire... :bangwall:

To be fair, having to use a weapon is jus so beneath the Federation, just like saving lives or using safety equipment.

No hearing protection either. Not a good idea.

I'll have to re-watch, I don't recall much of a report from the TR-116 but I could be wrong.

It's also possible that she's wearing earplugs, and we simply can't see them from the angle shown. I wouldn't put money on it though.

Look on the bright side - at least it, like the new phaser rifles, has a trigger guard.

From what I remember it was a pretty quiet beast. But I may not be particularly accurate.
