I believe when you go to post a new topic, somewhere on the post-writing page is the option to add a poll. You could run several different polls for different options. That's how we built the DITL ship, for example you could poll on:

-Size
- <700m
-700-1000m
-1000 - 1500m
- 1500m >

-Propulsion
-warp drive
-transwarp
-quantum slipstream
- magic.

Etc.

You can also poll on how the ship should look as well. Start with the basics and then progress from there. Maybe those of us with artistic ability may get drawn into doing a sketch for you afterwards.

Precisely.

- number of nacelles
- design aesthetics (sleek or tall profile)
- number of warp cores (or perhaps a different power source)
- ship's role
- accommodations
- weapon types (torpedo turrets vs launchers, arrays vs pulse, do they use transphasic, quantum, photon, plasma etc.)
- magic

I've added a how to guide for making polls to the Rules, Guidelines and Helpful hints thread.

-Sighs- Well what if I give you the specifics of the poll I am asking and you can assist me in making it? -_-

This is what I want to post:
I am officially making a poll (and my first one I might add, so some helpful opinions would be welcome) if I did this right, you will see the poll below.

What should the Enterprise-H look like?

-Size
- <700m
-700-1000m
-1000 - 1500m
- 1500m >

-Propulsion
-warp drive
-transwarp
-quantum slipstream

-Look/Design Asthetics
-Strong and tall, like a Galaxy class
-Sleek hot rod profile, like a Sovereign class

Number of Nacelles
-1
-2
-3
-4

Warp Core, Quantum Slipstream core, or Transwarp Drive
-Warp Core
-Quantum Slipstream core
-Transwarp Drive

How fast:
-<9.99999
-9.99999>

Number of cores
-1
-2
-3
-4

Ship's role
-heavy cruiser
-battleship
-fighter carrier
-all of the above

accommodations
-<700
-700-1000
-1000-1500
-1500>

projectile weapons types:
-Photon torpedoes
-Quantum torpedoes
-Transphasic torpedoes
-Plasma torpedoes
-All of the above

Types of launchers
-Turrets
-Tubes
-Launchers
-all three

types of beams:
-Phaser arrays
-Phaser pulse cannons
-both

How many phasers:
-<15
-15
-15>

How many tubes/launchers/turrets:
-<5
-5
-5>

I can not seem to make more than one poll per question (due to the number of polls)

Make your own polls! It explains how to do it right there in the link I posted.

And you can only have one poll per topic. You would have to post a new topic for each poll.

I know I linked you to the archive thread where we made the Daystromship Paladin. Follow that general flow.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
