Cell Phones and comlinks, iPad, computer networks aboard ships? A ship with Captain James Kirk?

We already have a lot of Star Trek things and tech in the real world :P

None of them are in the realms of magical text, like warp drive, replicators and transporters.

IIRC there is some stuff they can´t replicate. So what is the limiting factor here?

Can't really be complexity since they can make perfect cellular copies, maybe materials?

I have often wondered this, as things such as Latinum can't be replicated (hence the value), unfortunately there is probably no set limitations, just plot device.

They can replicate food, clothing, a phaser gun, a computer. They can´t replicate a Data type android.
They can even "replicate" people like Riker's "twin".
Can they replicate lets say a house or a car?

Yes indeed. Also computer cores.
They can´t replicate a Data type android.
Uncertain. Nobody has ever said that they can't, that I remember. And Data was able to construct Lal quite easily, it seems. They can't successfully create a positronic brain, given what happened to Lal, but they can certainly create a Data type body.

No. That was a transporter, not a replicator, and it involved funky shenanigans with the natural weirdness of the planet's atmosphere. Very unlikely that they could replicate a living person.

I'd imagine an industrial replicator could create a car with the touch of a button, or even a house. YMMV.

I do think that they could certainly replicate the component parts of a car or a shuttle, say. That was my suggestion on DITL for the abundance of shuttles on Voyager; the Type 9 was the shuttle version of one of those self assembly "kit cars" that you can buy. If one or two people can assemble such a kit in a small garage then I see no reason Voyager couldn't have replicated the parts one by one and assembled a Type 9 in the hangar bay.

But a full sized industrial replicator would easily be able to replicate something shuttle sized in one go, I'd think.

I think the limit is organic material. Or creating life. Let's say the replicator could replicate for example Scarlett Johanson for me, she could be perfect in every respect except she would be a vegetable or dead.

Or a replicator has issues with multiple complicated parts. Like a warp core and the nacelles being done in one go. Or it has issue with extremely complicated materials that we do not know about or needs to be fabricated a certain way.

No living things but they can do organic, like food.

In VOY the made the Delta Flyer from scratch. Did they replicated the parts or the whole thing in one go? i don´t know.
About the android, of course, they can do the body, piece by piece or like a whole, the problem would be, as stated by graham, the positronic brain. I belive it would be similar for the Delta Flyer or a shutle but with the warp core and the likes.

You can have Scarlett Johanson in the holodeck anyway.

Question: the replicator works out of pure energy? it´s a really awesome piece of tech.

Again the creepy Holodeck give us creepy occasions to do creepy things with famous peoples *<:*)X

It looks for me, and lot of you i think, as the replicator works like an inexpensive (mostly the cost at use, not at building) transporter with inferior resolution, being unable to replicate things because they are too small/complexe at replicator resolution.

Holodeck Scarlett Johansson, flesh and blood Scarlett Johanson. No matter to me as long as she has her Iron Man 2/Avengers look.

Oh if I can afford to be specific then I will be specific. I also have a thing for the Catwoman Michelle Phifier (SPL) among others.

I'd also non porno scenes would like to work on an F-14 Tomcat again.
