Another good review, although it's a pity Chuck didn't actually show or mention directly Data's test of throwing something to Geordi to link back to the intro.

You are a bit right, but I'd still favor his choice of emphasizing over the value of the villain present of the episode over storytelling pinpoints like that, as funny/insightful it would have been. Moriarty is one great villains of TNG, much stronger than Sela ever felt.


+1 to Chuck for the Annoying Character decision!

That is a good point. While the dynamic does become Picard vs. Moriarty, it is Data who makes the Holmes-like deduction that uncovers Moriarty's plot.

I like the comparison to Khan, there. And the analysis of his character too.
