I'm wondering why nobody kept a copy of that computer interface, just in case.

Or should we make a list of all the 1-episode techs, and equip them on a S31 secret fleet?

Maybe they did? No mention of it being destroyed IIRC.

Especially the subspace distortion to get to the center of the galaxy. That would be a very nice strategic advantage for S31 to have, with its much faster FTL capability. It will take time to set up, so you can't use it for fast battle getaways, but as a FTL drive for strategic platform dropping warheads on low-defended planets it would be ideal.
