Wasn't there in that book the cubes combined together to form a much larger cube? Or am I thinking of something else?
I vaguely remember that book.

God, I remember reading a TF/ST crossover where the Borg assimilated Megatron and the individual drones began combining into gun emplacements, giant mecha and other stuff.
...
I'm not trying to start any vs. debate, mind you. Just reporting on something cracky I read once.
