Not so much when in their home quadrant(s), and don't have to ration replicator use and are able to fashion their own new spare parts.

I'm not convinced that most Starfleet captains would be as willing to trade their own tech as Janeway was, esp. if they're NOT stranded in the DQ.

Who says they have to trade their tech. They could give them provisions or something else.

i like the AGT Ent-D and agree with seaforts' points and falklands example, and purely from aesthetics, the thing is a beast with that lance doo-daah
