I'M GOING RUNNING! TEDDY BEAR! SNEEZING! ROCKING HORSE!
Anything else off topic that needs to be said?
Question:
What's the first use of the Nebula in the series? I know the Phoenix is the first we see in detail, but is there a Nebula floating around at Wolf 359?

Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?
There sort of was one, off the top of my head. But it had two smaller nacelles in place of the mission pod. Who knows what's up with that.kostmayer wrote:They showed them in battle at Wolf 359 at the beginning of DS9, but I doubt one was among the wreckage they showed during Best of Both Worlds - the ship probably hadn't been thought up by then.

Maybe it's a variant designed to go at faster speeds? Given the haste in which the Wolf fleet was assembled, such a fast ship would make sense there.

I tend to agree with the idea that extra nacelles increase the life of the warp coils byt putting less stress on each one.
Thsi process may certainly have the happy side-effect of increasing the average possible speed over a long term.
