Cried?

Post by Azrael »

Has any episode made you cry, or come close to it, by making your eyes water? I'm a pretty tough guy, i laughed at titanic, and made fun of my brother for years after he bawled in armageddon.

But the episode "Dark Page" Season 7 of TNG nearly made me cry.

Even the chilling scenes at Wolf 529(did I get this wrong?) or Sector 001 didn't provoke this kind of emotional response.

I think it's because I hate to see bad things happen to little kids.

Anyone else have this happen??

I almost cried during Broken arrow episode of Enterprise... but that is for a different reason.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Yes you did. Wolf 359.

And "The Inner Light" has come the closest. That or DS9's "The Visitor"

Well, cried? no. I would've cried if "These are the Voyages..." had been good. As it is, I wanted to kill whoever was responsible for that episode.

I don't even cry at funerals, so no ep has ever provoked that kind of response.

I cried all the way through Enterprise and Voyager.
It was the sadest funeral I have ever attended.

The Inner Light came close.

The Inner Light comes as close as does Balance of Terror when the Romulan Commander chooses duty over survival. Might be a military thing, I don't know to many people that see it that way.

there was one episode with picard and beverly in one long continuous shot that circles around picard where he breaks down. that was one amazing bit of acting that got me choked up.

ironically, i can't remember the episode.

Ah yeah the inner light was pretty emotion provoking, and I didn't recongize her at first, but that's kirsten dunst playing the one little girl in that episode.

I saw one shot of her face, and i recongized her, as Interview with the vampire is one of my favorite movies of all time. xD

If there wer to be one, I would have to say that The Inner Light came closest. And The way to Eden - actually, that didn't make me cry so much as pray for death...
