Ok....the poll is up gang.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

That's a tough call all around. TNG while annoying in its PoV of the UFP, still had some really good eps.

I vote Inner Light.

I'd say we've got a really well balanced poll here.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

Inner Light is good, REALLY good, but I had to go with Measure of a man. I'm a sucker for AI stories and I think that Riker in that story was masterfully written and played.

Voted for BOBT I. Probably the best two-parter and season finale in Trek history.

Goes to show you what Riker could have been on a regular basis.

Definitely. You have his desire to win but then the realization of what a win on his part will mean.

I saw this too late, otherwise I would have added "Q Who?". Only one episode, it shows Q at its best, Picard's ego takes a hit, a very different enemy gets introduced, and changes the Federation's outlook on the galaxy.

BoBW 1 was good, but 2 seemed like they had nothing. IMHO it should have ended with Picard being taken away, and suffering lots of psychological issues over the next season, spending lots of time with Counselor Troi. Plus maybe the Borg assimilating a few cities to figure out the Federation's super drive, and leaving when they find nothing. Add in a line about several science projects being downloaded, and Picard mentioning that the Borg will return to check on those projects.

The Offspring was my vote though, as it showed nice political maneuvering, with a touch of innocence in the title character. Add in the change in the admiral when he described Data at the end, and it was enjoyable.

Aye, that was good. Seeing Picard admit to Q at the end that, yes, he was very wrong and for him to pretty much beg Q to save both his crew and himself was excellent. It as a nice little character moment.
