Here we go....and he's not a fan of the episode.

And be honest, how many of you immediately went off the Memory Alpha and Wookieepedia to search for breasts? :P

And you are very entitled to it, doesn't mean anyone cares... :P

I personally saw the guy as a jackass, especially since he made cracks about Data being an android all the time as if Data was supposed to be a moron or something, and in this episode, he was an idiot...

And then there was Guinean. Who is a "noid" ugh... :bangwall:

I had mixed feeling about this one. The Romeo and Juliet superficial plot was hackneyed to be sure. I liked the idea of a character like Okona... I mean, all that had been presented to us up until this point (aside from real villains) were starched Starfleet types or true criminals like Mudd. There has to be some sort of roguish, independent types like Okona, and it was nice to see one. However, Okona himself was really a parody or a caricature of what such a character should have been, hyperbolic and hollow.

Of course, the episode gets lots of points for including Teri Hatcher.

Not seen the review (not allowed YT at work) but I liked this episode although Okana was (as someone once wrote in these forums I think?) a poor man's Han Solo :)

I need to watch this, but yeah. I despised Okana. Poor man's, half assed Han Solo.

I didn't hate it to his degree but yeah, that was a wasted hour of my life.

The fact that they had to tell you he was outrageous in the episode title tells you everything you need to know.

"The Mildly Interesting Okona" might have worked better, eh?

'The Slightly Tepid Okona'? ;)

Meh, still like the guy. I plan on including him in a spinoff of my main SW/ST fic.

Tepid is the perfect word for Okana.
