I was paying his company like $25 an hour for that dumbass. Later I told them to find something for him to do like carry hoses around. At the time though I was too shocked/amused to really stop him.

Didn't he used to write for Trek part time?

The alliance between the KE and the UFP was one of necessity. It's quite clear they'd have no qualms turning on each other if it suited them.

Agreed. The UFP and KE seemed to hold there treaty because it was the anti-RSE treatment.

The number of times we've seen SF and KDF ships face off should tell us that treaty wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. However, IMO, that all changed when Martok took over the KE.

Hey Pete!

The UFP and KE seemed to have this eternal cold war with short lived hot wars spread out every few years.

Aye, the only person who seemed to believe and acted like the KE and UFP were allies was Captain Picard...

Kirk had the Klingon who ordered his son's murder hanging off a ledge, and he still offered the guy his hand. Many people in his place would have put the boot in straight away.

I know I would have or I might have pulled him up, just to push him off myself.
