I could accept that she was just normal, apart from her business with the Q. They consider her nearly an equal?

I dont think they ever said she was an equal. Maybe she is just hard to manipulate and that annoys Q.

Impossible, really. He is omnipotent. He can do everything.

In the Q Who episode she raised her hands as if she had a credible defence against Q, and Q viewed her as a real threat, returning the gesture.

The Q are far from omnipotent. Powerfull? Yes. Omnipotent? Hardly.

hm. Guinan interests me as a character simply because we know so little about her. You're right about the credible defence against Q, so who knows.
