I liked him.

So did I.

Same here, I enjoyed his commentary on the Federation quite a bit.

I thought he was portrayed as a meddling busy-body in Times Arrow. I am however, an admirer in RL.

He provided the orginal quote that I think Quark paraphrased in The Siege of AR-558

Twain: "Prosperity is the best protector of principle"

Quark: "Let me tell you something about humans, nephew. They're a wonderful, friendly people as long as their bellies are full and their holosuites are working. But take away their creature comforts, deprive them of food, sleep, sonic showers, put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time and those same friendly, intelligent, wonderful people become as nasty and as violent as the most blood thirsty Klingon"
“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and
the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to
know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is
to have succeeded.”

We are being forced to endure season one again here on sci-fi. Ung, I forgot how painful it is.

They look like Phyllis Diller,

Nothing like Napoleonic pig-soldiers to get the scifi juices flowing!

What are you talking about? That's your people's traditional clothing. I bet you wouldn't complain if they piped and ate bacon while wearing those skirts.

I'm a bad boy - one of the few things I like more than bacon is pancetta.

If G-d didn't want us to eat squid, He would've made them tougher to catch.
