Raw Materals used in the Galaxy Class

Post by Grundig »

So I was just thinking about what materials are used in the 24th century. Take the construction of a GCS, for example... Here are some random questions of mine.

I wonder if they still use transparent alumin(i)um for the windows.

I wonder if they use florescent lighting like we do.

Also, don't ask me why but I keep wondering what the wall surfaces are made out of. They look suspiciously like formica, which, if you ask me, would be an awful choice. Yuck.

I wonder if they have some futuristic spongy material that makes those chairs on the bridge extra comfortable, because being on the bridge is almost a desk job.

Well, whatever coats the decks of the ship as well as used to make packing crates is some kind of phaser proof plastic...........

Also, I'd bet money they have a cleanup system for the holodeck...

See, I was thinking Worf too, just when he does the "yoga" with Troi and Crusher :happydevil:

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
