What? :bangwall:

Where did you find this monstrosity?

Okay now THAT would be the best ever... but yeash for any who wonder what I was talking about...

The "Original" I hesitate very much to call it that but yeah, you'll see.

The "Upgrade"

There are many more examples of this type of thing on this site but I think this demonstrates my point.

Wow, that reaches a whole new level of "shit".

It looks like they took a Miranda and bolted it on a Star Trek Mark II Hull.

For what it's worth, I think the refit looks better, and from the side the whole thing doesn't look too terrible.

Agreed on both counts - the "upgrade" looks better partially because the proportions of the nacelles are better suited to the ship, and because the Sov saucer was intended as a saucer, whereas the Miranda's wasn't. Overall I'd put in the middle of the Frankensteins - not as bad as that Intrepid/runabout/F-14 monstrosity, but a good deal worse that the Centaur.

Oh my friends, that was just the first one I cam across when I went looking for an example, there are much worse, although some of the designs aren't too bad, you just sort of have to pick through them.

Can't remember where I found the Nebula/Defiant/Intrepid ship, was years ago while looking for ships.

The ones KM mentioned are just butt-ugly - but Teaos, please tell me that this thing of which you speak is just a sick joke.

Oh I wish, I've been trying to find it ever since I mentioned it but I have no idea where it was, it was probably 2 years ago I saw it, I keep on google searching it but searching "Nebula intrepid Defiant mutli vector attack mode" and the like just get totally random search results.

Is it possible you discovered a fanboi monstrosity that is so horrible that the internet spit it out?
