Yes, yes, of course there would male dancers as well.

But why have them at all - don't these ships have holodecks? No bouncers, no angry boyfriends, no champagne to buy...

Actually, to be honest, i'm in it for the whole experience, good or bad.

If i can just live in a holodeck with a guy then i'm happy.

Couldn't we trade them our holo deck time, or something???? And tell me that in the entire (but admittedly short) lifespan of the E-D, you don't think anyone at least got wasted and started stripping on a table. Happens every year at my company christmas party.

Nothing wrong with amateurs in my book. :)

You know, many times we have seen that E-D crew put on plays, musical recitals, all that kind of thing. If one of the E-D crewmembers decided to do a demonstration of the art of striptease, would Picard really veto it? Not suggesting somebody just randomly walking into 10 forward and dropping trou, but held in a private venue, no access to children? I can't really imagine that he would object to it. We know Starfleet has no problem with crewmembers "socialising", regardless of rank considerations even. If they don't mind a woman bumping pelvises with her boss, how can they object to her simply showing the goods?

I don't think he'd have a problem with it, he did vacation on Risa. And it's pretty obvious what the primary function of the locals there are...

Although he did go to Risa, he did nothing but read. Despite Riker attempting to "assist" him in finding some company.

I'm pretty sure he and Vash, um, unearthed each other before returning to Enterprise.

Yeah, I'd guess she'd be down for whatever. I agree that there would really be no reason to deny such a thing, but I still can't help but wonder why, from the "customer's" POV, when there are holodecks on which you could create your fantasy.
