I hated the sash that Worf had at the start of TNG. The latter one was much better.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Listen, I am all for form-fitting shapes on men or women, but damn, those were sooo 1987!
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

Yeah, but Troi's butt..

Speaking of 1987, does anyone else think those Romulan shoulder pads are straight out of Dynasty?

I like anything in trek that has women in short skirts. It's a win win.

That also made no sense to me. The whole purpose of wearing a uniform is to allow everybody a level of equality. When wearing a uniforom, your not supposed to be allowed "individual expression", then they go and let Worf wear his sash as some kind of Kligon expression or other.

Never understood that.

Modern uniforms often allow some minor variation to allow for an individual's culture. Sikhs, for example, are often allowed to wear turbans in uniform (I'm not sure about their bands, knives, etc).

Depends on the service. In the Canadian Forces they can wear the turban and kirpan with the dress uniform.

Sure, why not? If he was awed by Picard, intimidated by Sisko, and considered Riker his equel, I'm sure I could get him to lose the sash, even if I had to break his hand a few times with my face

Or, there is always my secret weapon

:::sending subspace message to Luaxana Troi::: "Excuse me, madam ambassador. I'm calling about Mr. Worf"
"What did Woof do now"???

Come to think of it, they even used to let him get away with carrying concealed weapons on him. How many blades did he have hidden on him at any given time?
