Help with Ep

Post by Graham Kennedy »

Anybody know a TNG ep where we get a really good close up view of a combadge? Like, the badge filling the screen or close to it?

I'd preferably like an early episode with the original style oval shield.

Not 100% sure, but maybe try the ones where they do some work on the combadges. Maybe 'Descent', 'A Fistful of Datas' may help. The first is where they try to get out of the cell where Lore is holding them, the other is where they are making a personal forcefield to stop bullets for Worf. Not sure if either of them have close up shots, but they might.

Towards the end of the episode "Redemption" (The last episode of the forth season) Worf resigns his commission and puts his com-badge on the conference room table: There is a oblique close up of it from the side.

Where you watching the DVD's, or do you have a photographic memory, or did US and UK TV repeat showings synchronize last weekend?

I watched that on DVD last Monday. I've plowed through 40 episodes in 10 days.

There is also a decent shot aproximately 2/3 of the way through the episode "Starship Mine", where Picard's comm badge is shown in the lead hijacker's hands.

It appears my maths skills have failed me. Again.

Mind you it was over my students' winter break. Thus I had lots of time.

I think there might be a good one in the first TNG episode w/the Ferengi. When whats-his-name removes Riker's combadge.
