We're in for a treat today--Adam shares the story of his Star Trek Captain's Chair, which he became obsessed with building from scratch after acquiring an insufficient replica. With the help of friend Jeremy Williams, Adam spends a day wiring in the electronics to bring his new Enterprise command chair to life. After much problem solving and troubleshooting, the effort pays off in a big way!

Adam boasts the new chair is “99.9 percent accurate, and within 1/8th of an inch of recorded measurements” including all operable lights, switches, and controls the chair in the show has. And it’s apparently quite comfortable to sit in.

How hard can it be really? Just saying. I mean the things measurements can get ripped off of various episodes.

At this point it is money and time.

Gotta say he does look good in it though.

Yeah, quite good-looking.

As for how 'easy' it is, yeah, it's all there on the 'net, but there's still the time, money and effort that's gotta go into something like this. It's still impressive.
