I love that they added a warbird in the remastered edition. Even when I was a kid, something about them using Klingon ship models bothered me.

No, there are still two D-7s, but they added in a warbird; it doesn't trash established canon, just adds in a ship that should have been present to begin with.

It would have been present to begin with, if some butterfingered twerp hadn't dropped the model and broken it.

Yes having the war bird there was very nice because the Romulans should have had more of those than the D7 Klingon battle cruisers.
