It would probably sit defunct for 30 or more years until some SciFi (i'm sorry, Syfy) exec, looking for cash decided "hey... lets modernise this and see what happens!"
"All this has happened before --"
"But it doesn't have to happen again. Not if we make up our minds to change. Take a different path. Right here, right now."

Would episodes like 'City on the Edge of Forever', 'Let that be your last Battlefield', 'Balance of Terror' and other classics still have that resonance today?

I've no doubt they would - The Living Legend is still a damn good story, so there's no reason why the great episodes of TOS wouldn't be considered the same way.
Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.

Thank you, Seafort. :) Ah, classic BSG! The version I actually liked.

The new one's pretty good, but I agree - it doesn't have the music or the sense of fun of the old one. And how can you argue against anything with Kor and Steed? :)

The new one probably is good, but not for me. Too dystopian and hopeless. I watched the series premiere, but it didn't grab me. *Shrug*
