So in order to correct that.
With my own experiences in 3D modeling I have to say I'm kind of in awe at what he's attempting. It's a massive amount of work to construct even a bare bones 3D model, much less a detailed on.

I have no experience with it, but I'd certainly consider the task daunting - especially since he's trying to model interiors which have to fit within a predetermined exterior.

Re: 3D E-nill Deck by Deck
Depends on how he approaches it. From the looks of things he's using a set of blueprints as a guide. The only area you're likely to get into fuzzy territory on is the group of cabins right next to the exterior hull. I don't know about him but if it was me those cabins would be sliced off by the exterior hull and that would be that. Unless I wound up with some ridiculous shaped room, like less than a meter deep, I'd just go with it.

No way! We mustn't distract him. Maybe when he's done we'll let him join...LaughingCheese wrote: Should I invite him over here?

Well, you haven't missed much, trust me. I've been trying to salvage info on my two primary machines for two weeks. And I'm inGrundig wrote:Dang it, what happened to the link?? I have to keep track of this guy's work! And now the site is down
process of re-setting up the machines. 2.6TB of drivespace is nice to have, until you fill it up and have to restore it all.
At any rate, I'm the guy And I should have my first new updates here in a bit

I'm watching with a lot of interest. All my 3D modeling has been for finite element analysis for work. Fun to see what you can do for just... well fun.

Welcome, Havoc. Quite and undertaking that you've... um... undertaken. We shall be watching your career with much interest, young Skywalker.

lol. Well, the career is finally moving forward again. I got max reinstalled, updated and configured and everything except my thief III stuff is loading. I have to troubleshoot why that isn't working; but, it isn't essential to this; so, I can move along unimpeded BIG SIGH OF RELIEF!Mikey wrote:Welcome, Havoc. And, Tyrr, I'm with you. Things are always more fun when it isn't "work".. lol. But I can imagine making a job of this as much as I do enjoy it. Can't wait to get back to texturing.
