People have been saying the Titanic was sunk by an iceberg for the past ninety-odd years. Doesn't make either of them correct, although they're both understandable.
Er, Titanic was sunk by an iceberg wasn't it?

Nope - it couldn't have been. There are a few reasons why, but the main one is that Titantic's rudder was hard over when she struck. Because a ship that size doesn't pivot about the rudder, but further forward (roughly around the bridge in the Titanic's case) her stern would have kept moving to starboard - into the "berg". The entire side of the ship would have been ripped open and she'd have capsized and sunk within minutes. A far more likely scenario is that she ran into pack ice.

The trailer has a few decent shots, but I'm guessing we'll have to wait for a full trailer to see the ship, if even then.

Wow you learn something new every day.

I can't believe James Cameron lied to me...

Although to be fair to many people ice berg and pack ice are the same thing.

The important thing is that some ice killed a lot of people.

Hmm, could the sinking of the Titanic be taken as an act of war by the ice?
