That would be me. My work may have fantasy elements, but it's always sci-fi at the core.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

:::shakes head:::

Thank god. I've shaken off the evil spirit trying to possess me. But I seem to have lost my Santa hat??? Anyone seen it?

Nah I'm sticking to Fantasy as my favorite.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

We've never referred to them as Yarmulkes or Kippah. they're just called Skull caps round here. Although a jewish person is about as rare as a russian in a 1967 US nuclear missile facility.

:wink: I really wouldn't expect you to. I was just making a little PC joke.

And generally, only a Jew (or someone who knew Yiddish or Hebrew) would know the terms "yarmulke" or "kippah."

In religious education, we never really studied the Jewish beyond the basics and the name of skullcap. no, we spend too much time on Buddhism, Islam and Hinduism at the moment.
