I've often toyed with an idea to write a Star Trek series of stories. What I had in mind was a group of ex-Fleeters that stumble onto a galactic plot. Sort of a 'Specter' from old James Bond movies into the 24th century that infiltrates Section 31, Obsidian Order, Tal'Shiar, and so on all at the same time, filling in the vacuum that the galactic war had left behind.
I also would continue the idea of genetic experiments that create beings with 'super' abilities (the Specter-Like Group), then clash Star Trek technology with super enhanced humanoids. Phasers verses Energy Blasts, Transporter beams verses Nightcrawler Style Teleporting, and so on...
A new idea?

I always liked the idea of clashing Star Trek Tech and Superhero Stuff. Kinda like Star Wars and the Force, but with a little more variety.
I've tinkered with an outline for such a story, but I haven't been able to apply more time and effort needed to make happen other than neat bits and pieces.
