Short poem I wrote (beware, there be emo-ness here)

Post by MetalHead »

Not even sure why I'm posting it here, but here it is. E-M-O time!

I can vanish every sight of you
I can blacken out your name
I can fight a war to forget you
But I can't overcome this pain

I can't stand to see your elation
Can't tell wether to run or fight
Can't stomach whats become of you
But I would burn to put things right

I face myself in solitude
I face the ruins behind the steel
I face the loveless back of you
But I hide from what is real

It was anger that you lashed at me
It was frustration from your heart
It was confusion that got the better of you
And it was our love you tore apart
"Beware what you intend to say, those words will always make you pay." - Soilwork

Is this meant to be funny? It's very well done.
There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.

If you mean Amy Lee from Evanesence...well, as long as she keeps her mouth shut.

No actually, it just sorta came from nowhere, lol. Weird.

In fairness though, had a few drinks last night, prolly thought "gee, maybe I should spread this round" haha.
