Quadrant map

Post by Jim »

Hi,

I have run multiple searches and can't seem to find it... I seem to remember there being a few maps of the various quadrants and where each species was etc etc etc... Anyone know what I am talking about?

Thanks,
Jim

This or this?

They're from the "Politics" tab - second from the right, lower of the two orange label rows at the top of the screen.

We've seriously considered replacing those with the official ST Maps. We held off from doing it because of the sheer degree of plagiarism involved. We probably go way, way beyond any legal bounds of fair use as it is - we survive, I suspect, partly because we're beneath Paramount's notice and partly because nothing we do here really hurts them in any way. Scanning and posting what would amount to a rather large chunk of one of their books seemed like a rather large step too far.

You could just recreate it and maybe fix whatever you think would make it better.

HA, yeah... take the originals and just "paint" over them with corney colors. Just enough so that it looks different, lol.

Hmmm... judging by the fact that it exists, I'd guess that someone created it already.

Hmmm... sounds like a new fanart project to me.

Yes, and I'm sure they won't mind Graham using it. It wouldn't hurt to contact them.
