Re: Quiz: Can you name The Rock's movies based one picture

8/8 with 5 semi-guesses. I've only seen Doom. As much as I love The Rock and anything related to WWE, I don't see a ton of movies.

Re: Fix a DS9 Episode

For some reason, the crash of the Jem'Hadar fighter into the random nebula planet in Rocks and Shoals I think it was called always bugged me. I seem to remember dialogue talking about a lack of intertial dampers which would pretty much kill you etc. Just tweak some dialogue to them trying their bes...

Fix a DS9 Episode

Alright - same theme as my TNG thread. Minor changes that would make a big difference. For me, there's a lot of little nits, but I really would have liked a little bit more exposition just as to why Gowron really felt the need to break the Khitomer Accords in "Way of the Warrior," other th...

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?

When I was selling trucks, I was trying to arrange a visit to the GM medium-duty production facility in Flint, MI, only to be told that the plant closes for the three weeks before Christmas. Why before Christmas? As I found out, it was due to the opening of Michigan’s deer season. Somehow this does...

Heh, yeah that was a rough one, although I'd rather watch that than probably 10 other from that season.

Re: TNG's Most Unwatchable Episode

Uhm...for me...It's a challenge between "The Last Outpost", "Shades of gray" and "Sub Rosa" at first glance Yeah, Sub Rosa is a rough one. It's amazing how bad the bad episodes in season 7 are. Even as an 11-year-old, this episode came off as utterly stupid. Come to th...

Re: TNG's Most Unwatchable Episode

Excepting Shades of Grey because it's not really "an episode"... I'd probably say it's a toss up between The Royale and The Icarus Factor. Good call on The Icarus Factor. It's not a guaranteed skip-over and has a few points in it I like, but that's an episode I'm doing laundry, cooking di...

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?

I am now on vacation for seven days. It's my, "Oh Godd I survived another retail holiday season!" vacation. Congrats! What are you doing for vacation? That's a distribution thing, too. All the upper managers tend to take a week off in January everywhere I've been. I would but I save my va...

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?

I once got a day off school because it snowed three inches. Which was good for me, as I only lived a hundred yards from the school and could very easily have walked it. I told a friend of mine who lived in Colorado about it, and she didn't stop laughing for five minutes. Then she told me that the p...

Re: Fix an Episode with 1 Change

1 great fix, across multiple episodes: Use consistent VFX for the 147 different types of Birds of Prey we see. There's the one that's the size of a Mini Cooper, one that's the size of a bus, one that's the size of the Bounty, one that's the size of the Enterprise-D, one that's the size of the Dyson ...

Re: Fix an Episode with 1 Change

Not sure if it counts since it is not an "episode" per se...but here it is: At the end of Star Trek Generations........the Enterprise D does not get destroyed. Apart from being the most shamefull thing any Enterprise probably had ever to endure, apart from making zero sense how the whole ...
