Re: Great novels

Horror? More like a very strange sort of fantasy, deeply connected with hard science, such as the theory of relativity, quantum entanglement, conservation of energy, newtonian physics and a lot more. Re: Voth reclaiming Earth

I almost think the Why question is a separate discussion altogether, I imagine this just taking place when all discussion around that subject on the Voth side has been concluded and that all Voth of the claimant force are convinced they have a rightful claim on the Earth once again. I could fill in ...

Voth reclaiming Earth

I was pondering this last night. What if the Voth decide to leave their claim of territory in the Delta Quadrant and travel all the way back to the Alpha Quadrant to reclaim their planet of origin, Earth? Would the Federation survive if the Voth were succesful in this? Their city ships are colossal ...

I tend to think there once was a larger number of people present with a Polish nationality in the Netherlands...

Re: The Ranting Thread

Word erased all of my footnotes and references. The notes are still in the main text with corresponding numbers, the margins are now plain white. I am dancing around the room due to my enormous joy as of now. Thank you, Microsoft Word.

Re: A blackout of the internet?

If it would have come to pass that either or maybe both bills got through, it would have had terrible consequences, not ...

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?

Oh, yesterday was such a lovely night. A substantial portion of the student body convened this night and spent ludicrous amounts of money for a very noble purpose: Get-Lesbians-Wasted-Day. Having been relieved of several euros and being rewarded with many a view of kissing women, I am a happy guy. :)

US schools using police to maintain order

The US schools with their own police More and more US schools have police patrolling the corridors. Pupils are being arrested for throwing paper planes and failing to pick up crumbs from the canteen floor. Why is the state criminalising normal childhood behaviour? The charge on the police docket wa...
